Mutt Strutt Home	Each year in the spring, the San Marcos Mutt Strutt, is held to show off our canine friends, while raising funds for the shelter animals and spay and neuter programs. Dog races and games, along with exciting activities for the entire family to enjoy, make the Mutt Strutt a favorite event of the community.
Events 2008	*Recent Events: The 5th Annual Mutt Strutt / Dash for Cash was held on April 19, 2008, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., at River Ridge Park in San Marcos, Texas. Santa Paws*: December 9, 2007, 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the River Pub. Dine with your pet at the Bow Wow Bistro! $15 donation includes hushpuppies, Yappatizers, a choice of 3 entrees and a soft drink. Cash bar, pet gift exchange, and photo ($5) with Santa Paws. Proceeds benefit San Marcos Animal Shelter - Guardian Angel Program.

We strive to make the community a better place by providing wellness services, spay/neuter and vaccinations to the Shelter animals. We are fostering a humane and compassionate society through education and training. We increase the visibility of Shelter pets for adoption. Mutt Strutt brings attention to the issues of pet overpopulation and responsible pet ownership. The San Marcos Mutt Strutt is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. All contributions are tax-deductible.
